Restaurant 56 can be found in the beautifully restored and refurbished Grade 2 listed wing of the Sudbury House Hotel. Situated in a beautiful corner of the Cotswolds in Faringdon, we can be easily reached from both Oxford and Swindon via the M4, M40 and A420.
Our aim is to ensure our guests have a truly unique experience from beginning to end, with elegant and diverse dishes from our tasting menus, created by Executive Head Chef, Andrew Scott.

Andrew Scott has spent his entire career in award winning kitchens, training initially at Lords of the Manor and L’Enclume before joining Mallory Court, where he became Head Chef in 2010.
